Today, I want to talk to you about your professional liability policy, and your definition of professional services, that is defined within the policy.
It’s really important when we’re talking about definitions of professional services in your policy. We want to make sure that it’s fine-tuned to match the services that you’re performing for your clients. Why this is so important is, if a claim comes in for a professional service that isn’t listed in that definition, the carrier will most likely decline that claim because it doesn’t match what’s in the policy. So we want to make sure of a few things. We want to make sure that the definition is broad to encompass everything that your professional services are, and we also want to make sure that we’re covering all the professional services that you are performing for your clients.
